David and I were blessed to know her and we are so grateful for all the memories of Big Charlie and Miss Flora’s fun times with Big Jerry and Grammy. Another generation has passed and left all of us an example of love and respect and grand character. Miss Flora was a true matriarch in so many ways. She was a leader in our Christ Episcopal Church family and also in our entire community. She was a true Southern lady who entertained and opened her home with grace and elegance and true Southern warmth and hospitality. My life has genuinely been richer knowing Ms Flora.
I know you have many wonderful memories to cherish. I sure have many from the days at the beach and at her home. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. How many photos has been taken on her beautiful porch- she always was so kind in letting many capture their special day remembrances without hesitation. A fond memory I have is her on the porch welcoming many trick a treaters in 2019. Whenever I travel pass her home I will forever remember the special lady that once lived there.
She was always so nice to my family and to me. She was one of my Sunday School teachers and so active in the church. Mrs. Flora was a one of a kind Southern Lady. She touched so many lives during her life, knowing that she will no longer reside in her lovely home on earth, makes all of us so sad. Our special prayers and thoughts are with each of you.
